Community cats are Front Page Mews!
We are a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization committed to protecting and advocating for cats who live outdoors and often have no one to speak for them. Community cats face daily challenges, from harsh weather to limited access to food and medical care. Our mission is to provide these resilient animals with the safety, respect, and compassionate care they deserve.
Through humane Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs, ongoing colony management, veterinary treatment, and lifelong sanctuary for those who cannot safely return outdoors, we work to improve both feline lives and the communities they call home. We believe that community cats are not forgotten cats—they are simply cats who need understanding, patience, and thoughtful solutions.
Some cats will remain under managed outdoor care. Others—especially injured cats, those with special needs or cats in imminent danger—will find permanent refuge within our group of fosters. Every cat in our care is valued, protected, and given the opportunity to live with dignity.
Whether you’re here to support TNR efforts, sponsor a cat or colony, volunteer, or learn more about community cat advocacy, you are helping create a more humane future—one where every outdoor cat is respected and cared for.
Together, we can turn compassion into action!
What we do
-
TNVR
Work with guardians of community cat colonies to trap, neuter/spay, vaccinate and return the cats to their outdoor homes.
-
Rescue
Sick cats/kittens will be brought to the farm to recouperate before being returned to their outdoor homes. Any cat/kitten in imminent danger will stay at the farm until they can be placed in a new barn or foreve home.
-
Adopt
Young kittens and friendly cats living in community colonies will be fostered, socialized and put up for adoption.
